Helping Harr Motors Group Protect Their Large Property
Mark Saraceno, Fixed Operations Director at Harr Motor Group contact Electronic Security Group (ESG) to secure their property with a Video Surveillance System.
Harr Motor Group needed a new video surveillance system because the immense size lot property – which included multiple buildings and multiple car lots – was using several different camera systems that were disjointed and dysfunctional, and did not provide a uniform platform that allowed viewing of the entire dealership from any one location. ESG was called in to change the design, engineer and implement a video surveillance system.
ESG met with Mark to survey the property and the current camera locations, plus determine key areas and unique “hot” spots that also needed protection. ESG then designed a comprehensive video surveillance system that provided thorough protection for the Harr Motor Group property. The new system was also designed with a budget-friendly, future-proof architecture that allowed for technology upgrades and add-ons, down the road, to increase the longevity of the system.

Defining The Video Surveillance Project:
The Boston Athenæum has partnered with Electronic Security Group to upgrade their video surveillance system and to provide remote viewing and monitoring of their cameras.
Before the project, we met with Andrew Hahn, Director of Systems at the Boston Athenæum, to conduct a site evaluation and listened carefully to his needs before providing Andrew with our video surveillance security recommendations for his facility.
After the upgrading of the video surveillance system, we connected with Andrew again to find out if he was happy with the upgrades, and what his thoughts were.

Defining The Video Surveillance Project:
The YMCA has partnered with Electronic Security Group to protect three (3) of their facilities – The Boroughs YMCA in Westborough, MA, the Central YMCA in Worcester, MA., and the Montachusett YMCA in Fitchburg, MA.
The three Central Mass YMCAs were undergoing renovations and improvements, plus upgrades and additions to the video surveillance systems in all three locations.
Before the projects, we met with Doris Harrison, the Director of Information Technology, Diversity and Inclusion at the YMCA Central MA branch, to conduct a site evaluation and listened carefully to her needs before providing Doris with our video surveillance security recommendations for all three facilities.
After the installation of the video surveillance systems, we connected with Doris again to find out if she was happy with the upgrades and additions to the video surveillance systems, and what her thoughts were.

I have worked with Electronic Security Group for quite a number of years and can attest to their equipment and service. I manage a large apartment building in Downtown Worcester that does not have a lot of capital so it needs to be bid out, approved and spent where it does the most good. In the past I have utilized a very simple analog system (also installed by ESG) and used it to successfully track problems areas and has lead to many evictions based on the captured video.
ESG recently installed a megapixel camera system in the building and talk about bang for the buck I could not be happier with the result. The coverage and clarity the cameras provide is 10 steps up. The software it utilizes is spot on and a time saver. I don’t have to fast forward and backward when I am in playback looking for issues. The system will bring me right where I want to go. As it utilizes the internet I can monitor cameras from anywhere I may be with an internet connection.
Literally, I can sit at home, grab a coffee and in minutes viewed activity at my camera locations before the coffee is cold. ESG has been my vendor of choice over the last 15 years and I really cannot see that changing.
